The SFPE SD Chapter is pleased to announce that the speaker for our January meeting will be Nanci Timmins from OSHPD. She will be talking about updates to the 2019 California Building Code as it relates to OSHPD and Fire Life Safety. Be sure to bring all your questions!
Speaker: Nanci Timmins – Chief Fire and Life Safety Officer at OSHPD
Topic: This presentation will give an update to the Fire and Life Safety requirements in the 2019 California Building Code related to OSHPD and health care occupancies.
Bio: Nanci Timmins is the Chief Fire and Life Safety Officer at OSHPD. Nanci has 22 years in the fire industry. Prior to her position as a Chief Fire and Life Safety Officer and Fire and Life Safety Officer at OSHPD, she was a Fire Marshal for the State of Michigan. Nanci has certifications in NFPA and holds degrees in Psychology and Fire Science.
